Returning to My Blogging Journey with Notion: A Surprising Game-Changer
Wow — it’s only been a week since I started using Notion, and I’m genuinely surprised by how much it’s already impacted my life.
Before I dive in, I mentioned in my last post that I’m back to romanticizing my life through blogs and YouTube videos. Something I deeply missed. But let’s be real, that dreamy aesthetic lifestyle doesn’t just happen on its own. It takes structure, intention, and consistency; three things I’ve historically struggled with... which explains my year-long hiatus. That’s exactly where Notion stepped in.
I heard from someone online that they use Notion to organize their content and keep their life together. That tiny comment stuck with me. I knew I needed a better system to juggle personal goals, creative projects, and everyday routines, so I gave Notion a try.
First of all… I might be slightly obsessed. The customization features alone reeled me in. I’ve been curating pixel art backgrounds, hunting for the perfect motivational quotes, and sprinkling emojis all over my dashboards. It’s unlocked a part of me I’ve missed; the creative, imaginative version that loves building beautiful things just for the joy of it. Having a digital space that reflects my personality has been surprisingly healing.
But Notion isn’t just pretty, it’s been sooo helpful. My habit tracker and fitness dashboard have actually kept me on track. Checking off a workout feels like leveling up in a game. Even when my timing isn’t perfect, I’m consistently showing up for myself. With a new contract project starting soon, I’m already planning how to restructure my routine so I can still prioritize the things that matter. Morning workouts, focused work sessions, evening study blocks. And yes, sneaking in my 10k+ steps a day while sipping my “supped-up” collagen protein, creatine water. Shout-out to habit-stacking.
Even leisure is now intentional. I’ve added a little rule: do something creative and joyful once a week; whether that’s playing a video game, practicing guitar, doodling, or calling my grandparents. These small rituals help me stay present and enjoy myself and those around me. If we're not enjoying ourselves, what's all this for anyway, right?
Notion has officially become my creative HQ. I’ve built out pages to plan blog posts, map out YouTube ideas, brainstorm titles, and even keep track of content buckets. Suddenly, the idea of being consistent doesn’t feel so overwhelming. I can see the structure I need to show up creatively without burning out. I’m not doing it for validation anymore — I’m doing it for joy. For progress. For the lifestyle I want to live and share.
This might sound like a full-on ad for Notion lol, but honestly? The way it’s helping me build a better system for my life and creativity is worth raving about. I know the real test will come when I’m juggling work, content, and personal goals, but I’m ready for it. I have to be. Nothing changes unless I change it.
Oh! I told my sisters about Notion, too. Not because I expect them to use it, but because I thought it could be fun to create a shared page we could all enjoy. Even if it’s just a collaborative playlist, recipe hub, or a vision board. The thought makes me smile.
Anyway, that’s it for now. I’m excited to keep building momentum; creatively, personally, and professionally. And yes, this time, I plan to keep going.

Welcome back! It sounds like Notion has been extremely useful for you when it comes to productivity and origination! You make me want to try it and see if it works for me. I have a tendency to start things and stop due to lake of organization so hopefully Notion can help me stay on track as well! I look forward to seeing more content from you!
